Wyganowo (German Kuhhagen ) is a residential area in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship in Poland . He belongs to the Gmina Karlino (city and rural community Körlin) in the powiat Białogardzki (Belgarder Kreis) .

Geographical location

The place to live is in Western Pomerania , about 120 km northeast of Szczecin . About 3 km south is the village of Mierzyn (Alt Marrin) , about 6 km southeast of the village Ubysławice (Rüwolsdorf) .

history

As early as 1305, it was first mentioned as Kohaghen , which at that time was probably a Hagenhufendorf that was created through German settlement, as were the nearby villages of Kordeshagen and Schulzenhagen . Kuhhagen belonged to the respective owners of Alt Marrin for a long time . In the 17th or 18th century, they removed the farms and converted the place into an estate, which was managed as a Vorwerk by Alt Marrin.

Later, after 1774, Kuhhagen was expanded again with the help of pardons from the Prussian king by adding two farmers, four Kossäthen and two Büdners . As part of the regulation of the manorial and rural conditions (see Prussian Agricultural Constitution ), these eight farms were moved to Rüwolsdorf around 1836 , so that Kuhhagen was again a pure estate business.

Kuhhagen belonged to the Alt Marrin estate district formed in the 19th century . With the dissolution of the manor districts in Prussia, this manor district was incorporated into the rural community of Rüwolsdorf in 1929. As part of the rural community of Rüwolsdorf, Kuhhagen belonged to the Kolberg-Körlin district in the Prussian province of Pomerania until 1945 .

In 1945 the place, like all of the Pomerania, came to Poland. The population was replaced by Poles. Kuhhagen has probably received the Polish name "Wyganowo", whereby the name variant "Wyganów" also occurs, whereas after Manfred Vollack the place is said to have received the Polish name "Wygonowo".

Today the place belongs to the Gmina Karlino (town and country municipality of Körlin) and there to the Schulzenamt Mierzyn (Alt Marrin) .
