Geographical location

The village is located in Western Pomerania about five kilometers northeast of the town of Karlino ( Körlin ). It is located about 500 meters northwest of State Road 6 , which runs from southwest to northeast and corresponds to the former Reichsstraße 2 here . The river Radüe runs parallel behind the state road .

To the west and south of the village are the residential areas Dębolas (forest house city forest) , Witolub (chicken heather) and Krzywopłoty (city wood cottages) . The neighboring village in the north is Świemino (Schwemmin) .

history

The village is the former Vorwerk or Stadtgut von Körlin , which was in the northeast of the Körliner Stadtfeldmark. In Heinrich Berghaus ' Landbuch des Duchtums Pommern und der Fürstentums Rügen from 1867 it appears under the name Stadthof as Vorwerk and Krugwirtschaft with 13 inhabitants and a herd of 2 horses, 3 cows, 2 oxen and 210 sheep.

  • 1885: 13 inhabitants
  • 1895: 21 inhabitants
  • 1905: 16 inhabitants

In 1928 the Vorwerk covered 128 hectares under the owner August Tessen von Gerlach auf Parsow. Until 1945 the Vorwerk belonged to the city of Körlin and with this to the district of Kolberg-Körlin in the Prussian province of Pomerania .

In 1945 the place, like all of the Pomerania, came to Poland. The population was replaced by Poles. The place was given the Polish name Karlinko .

Today Karlinko forms a Schulzenamt in the Gmina Karlino (town and country municipality of Körlin) . With this it belongs to the powiat Białogardzki (Belgarder Kreis) of the Polish West Pomeranian Voivodeship . To the mayor's office and the living space belongs Krzywopłoty (Stadtholz skating) .
