Yeray Álvarez López (born January 24, 1995 in Barakaldo ) is a Spanish football player . Since 2015 he has played for Athletic Bilbao in the Spanish first division .
Career
Álvarez started his career at Athletic Bilbao . In 2013 he played for the fourth division team for the first time. 2014 he made his debut for Athletic Bilbao B . In 2015 he was able to celebrate promotion to the second division. He made his second division debut on matchday 1 2015/16 against FC Girona . In August 2015 he was also part of the first division team.
On December 23, 2016, it was announced that Álvarez had testicular cancer.
