Unai Núñez Gestoso (born January 30, 1997 in Sestao ) is a Spanish football player .

Career

society

Núñez started his career at Athletic Bilbao . In August 2015 he played for the first time for the CD Baskonia farm team in the Tercera División .

In August 2016 he made his debut for Bilbao's B team in Segunda División B when he was in the starting line-up against UD Socuéllamos on matchday one of the 2016/17 season . He scored his first goal in the third division in January 2017 in a 2-1 win against Socuéllamos. That season he made 33 appearances for Bilbao B, in which he scored three goals.

In August 2017 he made his debut for the Basque first team in the Primera División when he played against Getafe CF on the first matchday of the 2017/18 season . Núñez scored his first goal in the top Spanish division in March 2018 in a 1-1 draw against Celta Vigo . At the end of the season he had 33 appearances in the Primera División.
