ZDFvision is the name of the ZDF's digital television program bouquet . For aerial television , the platform was expanded as the successor to ZDFmobil ( DVB-T2 instead of DVB-T in Germany ).

It is since August 1997 nationwide via cable ( DVB-C ) and the satellite of SES Astra in the standard DVB-S broadcast; In addition, all programs are available from IPTV providers. There is a nationwide bouquet for terrestrial transmission.

In addition there was ZDFdigitext (extended teletext ) and various MHP - application software provided. Until September 1, 2007, the ZDFdigitext was also broadcast via DVB-T and then replaced by the ZDFinfokanal. As the offer could not prevail, the MHP offer was discontinued.

Third Party Platforms

Independently of ZDFvision, some of their television programs are taken over onto third-party platforms. Parts of the programs are also broadcast terrestrially via SimpliTV in Austria and the Rundfunk-Anstalt Südtirol (RAS) in the DVB-T and DVB-T2 standards. The program offering has also been fed into cable television at Vodafone Kabel Deutschland (including the former Unitymedia networks) in the DVB-C standard since January 21, 2020.
