Documents and Debates is the name of a series of special programs on Deutschlandradio . Documents and Debates sees itself as a special channel that broadcasts numerous special broadcasts and sporting events and also broadcasts various conferences. If no own program is broadcast, the program is taken over by Deutschlandfunk .

As part of a brand structure reform, Deutschlandradio introduced new logos for its radio stations on May 1, 2017. In addition, Deutschlandradio Kultur and DRadio Wissen were renamed. Deutschlandradio Kultur has appeared as Deutschlandfunk Kultur since May 1, 2017 , DRadio Wissen as Deutschlandfunk Nova . The conversion of the website took place at the end of April 2017.

The programs usually come from the programs offered by Deutschlandfunk and Deutschlandradio Kultur . These include the “Pariser Platz”, “Landmarks”, “tonart.E” and the “ZEIT Science Forum” discussion rounds. Bundestag debates are also broadcast.

The program of documents and debates has only been distributed digitally since January 1, 2015. It can be received via DAB + and DVB-S and as a live stream. In the cable networks, the former frequencies of documents and debates have been taken over by Deutschlandfunk Nova . The earlier analogue broadcasting via medium wave and long wave frequencies was discontinued in 2013/2014.
