Zisis Vryzas ( Greek Ζήσης Βρύζας , born November 9, 1973 in Chrysochori , East Macedonia and Thrace ) is a former Greek football player .

On July 4, 2004, he was European champion with the Greek national team at the EM in Portugal . He was made an honorary citizen of Athens . For the 2005/06 season he returned to Fiorentina , where he had already played during the 2003/04 season. He remained loyal to the team from Tuscany until the end of the last series in 2005/06 and then moved to Torino Calcio . Before the 2006/07 season Vryzas returned to the club AO Xanthi , but moved to the traditional club PAOK Saloniki on a free transfer in the 2007/2008 season, where he ended his active career on January 6, 2008 and took over the position of technical director. Since August 16, 2010 he has been assistant coach for the Greek national team alongside Fernando Santos and has resigned as technical director at PAOK.
