Innoventions is a pavilion in Future World at Epcot in Walt Disney World, Florida that opened in 1994. It was formerly CommuniCore. A second Innoventions opened at Disneyland on July 3, 1998 in the New Tomorrowland. Epcot's version is divided into two buildings known as Innoventions East and Innoventions West, while Disneyland's occupies the Carousel Theater, which housed previous attractions America Sings (1974-1988) and Carousel of Progress (1967-1973, now located at the Magic Kingdom). Utilizing the existing Carousel Theater's moving platforms, Innoventions is the only spinning building in Disneyland and makes one full revolution every 17 minutes, 40 seconds. Epcot's version underwent a major re-innovention in 1999 for the Millennium Celebration, and added the subtitle "The Road to Tomorrow".
History
Innoventions in Epcot replaced the original tenant of its two semi-circular buildings, CommuniCore.
