Dolní Sokolovec is a village and municipality (obec) in Havlíčkův Brod District in the Vysočina Region of the Czech Republic.
The municipality covers an area of 2.84 square kilometres (1.10 sq mi), and has a population of 94 (as at 3 July 2006).
Dolní Sokolovec lies approximately 17 kilometres (11 mi) north-east of Havlíčkův Brod, 38 km (24 mi) north of Jihlava, and 102 km (63 mi) south-east of Prague.
