"Swagga Like Us" is a song by rappers Jay-Z and T.I., released as the first single from Jay-Z's eleventh studio album The Blueprint 3 and also appears on T.I.'s sixth studio album, Paper Trail. It was released on September 6, 2008[1]. The song features Kanye West and Lil Wayne both using some auto-tune in their verses. It contains a mixed vocal sample from "Paper Planes" by M.I.A. where she declares "No one on the corner has swagga like us." [2][3] "Swagger Like Us Pt. 2" has been recorded and will be featured on Jay-Z's The Blueprint 3. It will feature Young Jeezy, Andre 3000 and Nas. [1]

Diddy has made a freestyle on Swagga like us, and renamed it "Swagga Like Puff". Trey Songz has also made one under the name of "Swagga Like Songz", which is also the name of one of his mixtapes. Also, Hot Rod a G-Unit Records recording Artist made a Freestlye to the song.

Charts

The song made a Hot Shot Debut on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 at #5, also made a Hot Shot Debut on the U.S. Billboard Pop 100 at #19 on the week of September 18. On September 21 2008, the song entered the UK Singles Chart at #33[4] on downloads alone. On the Canadian Hot 100 chart it debuted at #19 also on digital downloads.
