Kirkop (or Ħal Kirkop ) is a small village in the south of the island of Malta with 2397 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2018). A plant of ST Microelectronics is located there . Currently accounts for around 60% of Malta's exports of goods.

The parish church is dedicated to St. Leonhard consecrated. The feast of this patron saint is celebrated on November 5th; a second village festival is that for St. Joseph , which is not celebrated on March 19, but in summer.

The local football club is called Kirkop United and plays z. Currently in the 3rd division of the Maltese Football Association.
