Achmühle (Greding)

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Achmühle was a district of Greding . Until 1950 he was listed as a separate place of residence in the local directories. It is on the Schwarzach . The name lives on in the street Zur Achmühle .

In 1899, the Raiffeisenbank Greding built a turbine with a generator into the mill in order to build up the Greding power supply. At first it was the only power source. Most of the green electricity for the Greding power supply is now generated here. After the Second World War , a tailor's shop was housed in the adjoining residential building. In the 1990s the sawmill in the Achmühle was closed.
