Adam Otto von Viereck (envoy)
Adam Otto von Viereck also Vieregg (born April 2, 1634 in Boddin ; † July 27, 1717 in Wattmannshagen ) was the Mecklenburg-Güstrowsch Chamber President and Prussian envoy in Copenhagen .
Life
origin
Adam Otto von Viereck was a member of the Mecklenburg noble family von Viereck . His parents were the Swedish Rittmeister and heir to Weitendorf and Benitz , Melchior von Viereck (1596–1642) and Elisabeth, born von Levetzow († 1642) from Weitendorf , who had been shot in a duel .
Career
Viereck, a trained lawyer, had been President of the Chamber of Mecklenburg-Güstrow at Gustav Adolf's court in Güstrow since 1673, and then President in Parchim . He was the heir to Weitendorf and Gremmelin with Wattmannshagen . Since 1685 he was the Kurbrandenburg secret council . At least from 1698 to 1706 he was a Brandenburg-Prussian "Envoyé Extraordinaire" at the Danish royal court in Copenhagen . In 1704 he became a knight of the Dannebrog Order . On January 24th, 1707 he was promoted to Real Privy Council .

Adam Otto von Viereck was first married to Sophie Amalie von Pentz (1634–1672), with whom he had three children. In his second marriage he was married to Anna Helena von Wolffersdorff (1651–1701), from which four children are known. Finally he entered into a third marriage with Hedwig Elisabeth von Klenow from Danish nobility.
