In the Neustadt (Dosse) office with its seat in the city of Neustadt (Dosse) is located in the southwest of the Ostprignitz-Ruppin district in Brandenburg . Six municipalities are united in an administrative association.
Geographical location
The office borders in the north on the Prignitz district and the city of Kyritz , in the east on the municipality of Wusterhausen / Dosse and in the south on the Havelland district . In the southwest lies the border from Brandenburg to Saxony-Anhalt . The Neustadt (Dosse) office borders the Stendal district here .
Municipalities and districts
The Neustadt (Dosse) office comprises six municipalities:
- Breddin with the inhabited parts of the municipality Breddin, Breddin- Abbau , Damelack , Joachimshof , Sophiendorf and Voigtsbrügge as well as the residential areas Hörning , Obermühle and Rotes Forsthaus
- Dreetz with the inhabited districts of Bartschendorf , Dreetz, Giesenhorst , Michaelisbruch and Siegrothsbruch as well as the residential areas Baselitz , Blumenaue , Böhls Plan , Fischershof , Lüttgendreetz , Schäferberg , Schulsiedlung , Sterns Plan , Treuhorst , Waldsiedlung , Weber's Plan , Wolfs Plan and Zietensaue
- Neustadt (Dosse) (city) with the districts of Plänitz-Leddin and Roddahn , the inhabited part of the municipality Kampehl and the residential areas Babe, Haselhorst, Hauptgestüt, Helenenhof, Köritz, Leddin, Lindenau, Neuhof, Neuroddahn, Plänitz, Schönfeld, Schwarzwasser, Siedlung, Spiegelberg and Strubbergshof
- Sieversdorf-Hohenofen with the inhabited parts of the municipality Hohenofen and Sieversdorf as well as the residential area New America

history
On March 16, 1992, the Minister of the Interior gave his consent to the formation of the Neustadt (Dosse) office with effect from April 8, 1992. At that time it consisted of eleven municipalities:
- Breddin
- Dreetz
- Giesenhorst
- Hohenofen
- Lohm
- Planitz
- Roddahn
- Sieversdorf
- Studenitz
- Zernitz
- City of Neustadt (Dosse)
On December 31, 1997, Dreetz and Giesenhorst merged to form the new municipality of Dreetz and the municipalities of Sieversdorf and Hohenofen to form the new municipality of Sieversdorf-Hohenofen. On December 31, 1997, the municipalities of Zernitz and Lohm also merged to form the new municipality of Zernitz-Lohm.
On December 31, 2002, the communities of Plänitz-Leddin and Roddahn were incorporated into the city of Neustadt (Dosse). At the same time, the communities of Stüdenitz and Schönermark ( Kyritz Office ) merged to form the new community of Stüdenitz-Schönermark. This means that the Neustadt (Dosse) office still includes today's six municipalities: Breddin, Dreetz, Sieversdorf-Hohenofen, Stüdenitz-Schönermark, Zernitz-Lohm and the city of Neustadt (Dosse).
