Andrei Olegowitsch Minenkow ( Russian Андрей Олегович Миненков , born December 6, 1954 in Moscow ) is a former Russian figure skater who started in ice dancing for the Soviet Union .

His ice dance partner was Irina Moissejewa , with whom he is also married. The couple ran together from 1967, it had its debut at world and European championships in 1973. From 1975 to 1982 Moisejewa and Minenkow always reached the podium at world championships. In 1975 in Colorado Springs and 1977 in Tokyo they became world champions. In 1976 , 1978 and 1981 they became vice world champions and in 1979 , 1980 and 1982 they won the bronze medal. They were similarly successful at European Championships, where they always won a medal from 1976 to 1982. In 1977 in Helsinki and 1978 in Strasbourg they became European champions, in 1976 , 1979 and 1981 they won the silver medal and in 1980 and 1982 the bronze medal. At the first Olympic Games where ice dancing was part of the program, Moissejewa and Minenkow won the silver medal in Innsbruck in 1976, behind their compatriots Lyudmila Pachomowa and Alexander Gorshkov . At their second Olympic Games in 1980 in Lake Placid they won the bronze medal behind their compatriots Natalja Linitschuk and Gennadi Karponossow and the Hungarians Krisztina Regőczy and András Sallay .

Moissejewa and Minenkow were trained by Lyudmila Pachomowa , Natalia Dubowa and from 1969 by Tatyana Tarasova for ten years in Moscow .
