Arden Myrin (born December 10, 1973 in Little Compton , Rhode Island ) is an American actress and comedian .

life and career

Arden Myrin was born in Little Comption, Rhode Island in 1973. On December 30, 2007 she married her husband Dan Martin whom she met in 2001 in Los Angeles in a comedy club.

She made her acting debut in 1996 in a supporting role as Daphne in the television film The Royale . She then stood in front of the camera in 1997 with Alexis Arquette and Guillermo Díaz in the comedy film I Think I Do. Then she was seen as a student in the films In & Out and Harry beside herself . She played the character Abby in 39 episodes of the television series The Dear Colleagues . In the comedy film What Women Want with Mel Gibson in the lead role, she played Helen Hunt's assistant . In 2002 she got the role of Lucy in the drama Highway, alongside Jared Leto , Jake Gyllenhaal , Selma Blair and John C. McGinley . In the family comedy Crazy Christmas from 2004, she can be seen in a small role as Daisy . In the US-German co-production Kinsey - The Truth About Sex she was seen as Emily . Liam Neeson is seen as Alfred Kinsey in the lead role and his wife is played by Laura Linney . From 2005 to 2009 she played various characters in 76 episodes in the television series MADtv . This was followed by guest appearances in Modern Men , Gilmore Girls , Royal Pains , Psych , Hung - Far Better and Hot in Cleveland . In the comedy film Evan Almighty , she played a contributor to Steve Carell's character. In 2012 she played a supporting role in the comedy The Wedding of Our Biggest Friend, alongside Kirsten Dunst and Rebel Wilson .
