Arrane Ashoonagh dy Vannin
The national anthem of the Isle of Man , whose Manx-Gaelic name is Arrane Ashoonagh dy Vannin ( German "National Anthem of Isle of Man"), was composed by William Henry Gill (1839–1923) and later by John Kneen (1873–1939) translated into Manx . The English title of the hymn is O Land of Our Birth . It was only officially recognized by the Tynwald in 2002 .
In March 2015, this anthem, by El lan Vannin, was played in error instead of the national anthem of El Salvador for a soccer game between El Salvador and Argentina at FedExField in Landover, Maryland, United States.

The first stanza of the anthem to Manx reads:
- O Halloo nyn ghooie,
- O 'Ch'liegeen ny s'bwaaie
- Ry gheddyn he ooir aalin yee,
- Ta dt 'Ardstoyl Reill Thie
- Myr Barrool er ny hoie
- Dy reayl shin ayns seyrsnys as shee.

- Built firm as Barrule ,
