Intermeco is the national anthem of Bosnia and Herzegovina composed by Dušan Šestić .

The anthem was introduced with the new flag on February 10, 1998 , as the earlier national anthem Jedna si jedina (“One is you, the only one!”) Composed by Dino Merlin was rejected by the Serbs and Croats living in Bosnia.

The national anthem had no lyrics until 2009. A text competition held in 2008 brought over 300 proposals. A selection committee made up primarily of members of the Bosnian parliament accepted the proposal by the composer Dušan Šestić and Benjamin Isović in January 2009. The text still has to be confirmed by the responsible ministry and parliament. This has not happened for a long time because there is no political approval and has not yet happened to this day (as of March 5, 2020).
