Austin A60 Cambridge

The Austin Cambridge was a mid-range car built by the Austin Motor Company in Great Britain and Australia from 1954 to 1969 . There were two model generations, 1954 to 1959 and 1959 to 1969, and engines with 1200, 1500 and 1600 cc. The models are structured as follows:

• First generation
  • A 40 Cambridge , 1200 cm³ (1954–1956)
  • A 50 Cambridge , 1500 cm³ (1954–1957)
  • A 55 Cambridge , modernized version with 1500 cm³ (1957–1959)

• Second generation
  • A 55 Cambridge , 1500 cm³ (1959–1961)
  • A 60 Cambridge , 1600 cm³ or 1500 cm³ diesel (1961–1969)

Only in Australia was there a six-cylinder version of the second Cambridge, the Austin Freeway, from 1962 to 1966 .
