The A50 Cambridge was offered with the same pontoon body as the A40 from 1954. Its larger four-cylinder engine had a displacement of 1489 cm³ and developed an output of 50 bhp (37 kW), which was passed on to the rear wheels. The top speed was 118 km / h.
As early as 1957, the successor Austin A55 appeared with a slightly more powerful engine.
