The Avenue of Stars ( Chinese  香港 星光 大道 , Pinyin Xiānggǎng Xīngguāng Dàdào , Jyutping Hoeng 1 gong 2 Sing 1 gwong 1 Daai 6 dou 6 ) is a pedestrian zone in Hong Kong on which is modeled on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in Los Angeles the names and handprints of famous movie stars are in a row of gold stars. Individual people are particularly emphasized by sculptures or statues.

The Avenue of Stars is right next to the Hong Kong Museum of Art , on the harbor promenade in the Tsim Sha Tsui district on the Kowloon Peninsula .

Due to renovations at the Hong Kong Museum of Art (since 2015), both the museum and the Avenue of Stars are closed for renovation. During the renovation phase, a few statues and handprints of the film stars were temporarily relocated and rebuilt for the film exhibitions in "The Garden of Stars" a few minutes' walk east on Salisbury Road, so that visitors can still see them there. For this purpose, the “Tsim Sha Tsui East Waterfront Podium Garden” ( 尖沙咀 東 海濱 平台 花園  /  尖沙咀 东 海滨 平台 花园 ) was renamed “The Garden of Stars”. After the renovation period that is expected to be three years until the end of 2018, both buildings will be open to the public again. Due to a construction delay, the reopening date has been postponed to February 2019.
