Badminton Bundesliga 2007/08

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The 2007/2008 Badminton Bundesliga season consisted of a preliminary round in the "everyone against everyone" mode with a return game and a play-off or play-down round. In the play-off round, the 1st and 4th as well as the 2nd and 3rd competed against each other in a return match. The winners of the two games determined the German champions, also in a return leg. Champion became the first BC Bischmisheim that the first BC Beuel defeated in two finals. VfB Friedrichshafen had to relegate, withdrawing from the Bundesliga before the start of the play-down finals and thus making the play-down finals superfluous. Nordmeister BV Gifhorn made it to the first division .
