Railway stations in Baden-Württemberg |
The Laudenbach (Württ) station and today's Laudenbach (Württ) stop is an operating point on the Crailsheim – Königshofen railway . It is located in Laudenbach , a district of Weikersheim , in the Main-Tauber district in Baden-Württemberg .
location
The former station building is located on Bahnstraße in Laudenbach im Vorbachtal , a left side valley of the Taubertal . After the next stop in Weikersheim, the railway line continues along the Taubertal.
history
The former Laudenbach (Württ) train station has meanwhile been dismantled as a stop. It used to have a crank signal box in front of the building , which was later enclosed. A warehouse had two sidings. The station had three main tracks, an open loading track with head and side ramps, a freight hall with 40-tonne scales, a coach house and an outbuilding with toilets and a bathhouse for the staff. The post office was also housed in the station for a long time.
In August 2017, the stop was rebuilt and the platform redesigned. It was raised to a length of 100 m to a height of 55 cm, a new weather protection system, LED lighting, a passenger information system with an acoustic announcement, a guidance system for the visually impaired and a new barrier-free entrance. The parking lot has been expanded to include a storage area for bicycles and has been paved.
Monument protection
The station building is a listed building. In 2016, citizens contributed to the beautification of the station building.
