El Hadji Baye Oumar Niasse , shortly Oumar Niasse (* 18th April 1990 in Ouakam ) is a Senegalese football player . He is currently under contract with Everton FC .
Career
society
Niasse began his professional career in his hometown with the US Ouakam club .
After a short stay in Norway with the club Brann Bergen , he left his home club after six years and moved to Turkey to the first division club Akhisar Belediyespor . On his debut in the Süper Lig against SB Elazığspor , he also scored his first goal.
Niasse became one of the shooting stars of the 2013/14 season at Akhisar. So he ended the season with twelve goals and six assists in 34 league games. After this successful season, Niasse moved to Lokomotiv Moscow in summer 2014 for a transfer fee of 5.5 million euros .
National team
Niasse played for the Senegalese U-20 and U-23 national teams during his time at US Ouakam .
In spring 2014 Niasse stated that he would like to play for the Turkish national soccer team . However, it remained that he played for Senegal, most recently on March 23, 2018 in a home game against Uzbekistan. In the qualifying round for the Africa Cup of 2017 , he scored his only FIFA international goal to date against Niger on March 26, 2016. He scored two more goals in a non-FIFA game against Kosovo on May 25, 2014.
