Beata Kempa

Beata Agnieszka Kempa (born February 11, 1966 in Syców ) is a Polish politician , since 2005 a member of the Sejm in the V., VI ., VII . and 8th electoral term, former State Secretary in the Ministry of Justice in the Jarosław Kaczyński government .

Life

In 1990 she finished her studies in administrative sciences at the University of Wroclaw . From 1998 to 2005 she was a councilor in Syców. For several years she worked as an adult social worker. In 2002 she applied unsuccessfully for a mandate as a member of the European Parliament in elections and received 5,685 votes.

In the parliamentary elections in 2005 , she was on the list of Prawo i Sprawiedliwość (Law and Justice - PiS) for the constituency of Wrocław as a member of the Sejm. From May 22, 2006 to November 15, 2007 she was State Secretary in the Ministry of Justice.

In the parliamentary elections in 2007 she was elected for the second time with 10,228 votes for the PiS. She is the deputy chairwoman of the Sejm Commission for Justice, as well as a member of the Sejm Commission for Parliamentary Affairs and the Commission of Inquiry into the circumstances surrounding the death of Barbara Blida .

After the elections on October 9, 2011, she was expelled from the Prawo i Sprawiedliwość party on November 4, along with three other politicians , and together with them founded a new group called Solidarna Polska .

After the PiS won the 2015 election, Kempa was appointed head of the Prime Minister's office in the Szydło cabinet and Minister without a portfolio .
