Andrzej Mieczysław Adamczyk (born January 4, 1959 in Krzeszowice , Powiat Krakowski ) is a Polish politician and has been a member of the Sejm in the V., VI ., VII . and VIII . Electoral term. On November 16, 2015, Adamczyk was appointed Minister of Infrastructure and Construction.

Life

Adamczyk is a trained construction technician, in 1979 he finished the construction school in Krzeszowice.

Twice (1998 and 2002) he was elected to the District Council of Powiat Krakowski and was chairman of the Commission for Infrastructure and Local Services in this body. He is a member of the Małopolska Chamber of Civil Engineers.

He was active in the Porozumienie Centrum (PC), after which he entered the Law and Justice (PiS).

In the 2005 parliamentary elections , he was elected to the Sejm for the constituency of Krakow with 1,582 votes from the PiS list. In the elections to the Sejm 2007 he was re-elected with 3,421 votes, in the elections to the Sejm 2011 with 14,297 and elections to the Sejm 2015 with 18,514 votes .
