Bình Dương is a province ( tỉnh ) of Vietnam . It is located in the south of the country in the southeast region .

The province of Bình Dương is relatively flat and is traversed by the Saigon , Đồng Nai and Bé rivers.

• 1 provincial town ( thành phố trực thuộc tỉnh ): Thủ Dầu Một (capital)

Under the name Thành phố mới Bình Dương (Bình Dương New City) a new provincial capital is currently being built as a planned city .
