Career

Fogelmark was born in the Swedish capital Stockholm, where he grew up. Together with his childhood friend Albin Nedler, he attended the Adolf-Fredriks Music Class, a primary school that focuses on working with music. They later went to Södra Latins High School together . To build on their basic musical education, they moved to Örnsköldsvik municipality , in the Swedish province of Västernorrland , to attend the Musikmakarna Songwriters Academy YH.

In 2012 they signed a contract with Kinglet Studios, a recording studio in Stockholm that is run by the Swedish music producer and songwriter Carl Falk together with Rami Yacoub. At the same time they were hired for their music publisher "SK Music Publishing", which they ran together with Savan Kotecha. Between May and August 2012 the second studio album by the Irish-British pop band One Direction was produced in Kinglet Studios , with Nedler and Fogelmark Falk and Yacoub assisting with production, songwriting, programming and background voices. One of the released singles was the track they wrote, Kiss You , which got them into the German, Swedish and US single charts and sold around two million times. For their work on the album, they received a Denniz Pop Award in the Rookie Songwriter and Producer category.

Between 2013 and 2014 they worked as a team on the fifth studio album by the boy band Boyzone , the album Tattoos by Jason Derulo and as the vocal editor on the 2014 studio album Sorry I'm Late by Cher Lloyd , where they also worked on songwriting Max Martin met.

In early 2015, under the pseudonym Kris Fogelmark, contributed the song Love Was My Alibi to the US historical drama The Promise of a Life with Russell Crowe . Crowe was also involved as a songwriter. In the summer of the same year he could be heard with Nedler on Demi Lovato's studio album Confident , Ellie Gouldings Delirium and Wake Up by The Vamps, among others . In October 2015 the second studio album Stories by the Swedish producer Avicii was released , on which he and Nedler contributed to the tracks For a Better Day and Pure Grinding . Both were also released as single and advanced into the charts of several countries. The following year they worked with Olly Murs on his studio album 24 Hrs .

In 2017 Fogelmark founded their own production company "M0B Music" together with Nedler, which is part of the " Kobalt Music Group ". The recordings of the label will take place in the Kinglet Studios as usual. The collaboration with Carl Falk was also continued. In spring 2017 Fogelmark contributed the vocals of the song More Than You Know by the Swedish DJ duo Axwell Λ Ingrosso . The song was written by the Swedish musician duo Vargas & Lagola , whom he later met while working with Avicii . The song developed into a worldwide success and landed at number one in seven countries, including Germany, Hungary and the Czech Republic. Together with the duo he performed the song at the Amsterdam Dance Event .

In 2017 he and his team took over the entire production of the studio album Youngblood by 5 Seconds of Summer , which was released in 2018. In July 2018, the Dutch DJ and producer Martin Garrix released the song High on Life , which they performed together at Tomorrowland 2018. Here he appeared for the first time as a singer under the pseudonym Bonn . With the song he reached the charts of several countries in Europe as well as the US dance charts. A second collaboration was announced a few months later and was released on February 22, 2019 with the title No Sleep . The official music video shows the two musicians at different locations and symbolizes a friendship.

In March 2018, he worked with Avicii on several songs for his third studio album. After he was found dead in April 2018, the tracks were supposed to be ready for posthumous release. With Nedler he formed one of the teams that was involved in a total of 3 songs on the album Tim . One of the results was the song SOS with Aloe Blacc , which was released as the first posthumous single in April 2019. The album along with the other two of his followed in June 2019.
