Carville (make of car)
Carville was a Swiss car brand.
Victor Perrenoud from Geneva developed the prototype of the Pilcar electric car in 1977 with the help of the Electricité Neuchâteloise SA and Société Romande d'Electricité . The electric motor developed 19 hp , the batteries had a capacity of 40 kW. The top speed was 90 km / h. The body was designed by Franco Sbarro . The three-door station wagon with a length of 3.06 meters offered space for four people and luggage.
Series production began in 1979. From the same year the brand name Carville was used.
Production ended in 1981.
