Cho Chi-hyo (born December 6, 1970 in Incheon , South Korea ) is a former Korean handball player . The left-hander played, among other things, in the handball Bundesliga at HBW Balingen-Weilstetten on the right backcourt position .

In Switzerland, Cho began his European handball career in 1995 with Pfadi Winterthur . After nine very successful years, including six championship titles, he moved to the Kadetten Schaffhausen for two years . From there he went to Wacker Thun . Before moving to the handball Bundesliga for the first time after just one year at HBW Balingen-Weilstetten , for which he played until 2009.

After Cho was no longer active, he made his comeback for Pfadi Winterthur in May 2012. In the 2012/13 season Cho ran for the Lakes Tigers, where he worked as a player-coach from fall 2012. He then became an assistant coach of the South Korean women's national team .

The 1.94 m long Cho is married and has three daughters.
