Iwan Ursic (born December 6, 1976 in Aarau ) is a Swiss handball player . The 1.92 m tall circle player plays for the Swiss club Kadetten Schaffhausen .

After Iwan Ursic won the Swiss championship with TV Suhr in 1999 and 2000, he succeeded again in 2004 with Pfadi Winterthur . From June 1, 2004 he played for the German club HSG Nordhorn . After two seasons he moved to HSV Hamburg, with whom he won the European Cup Winners' Cup in 2007 . Since the summer of 2008 he has been playing again with the Kadetten Schaffhausen , for whom he was already active in the 2002/03 season. He won the championship with the Cadets in 2010, 2011 and 2012. In 2013 he signed a contract with GC Amicitia Zurich .

Iwan Ursic scored 571 goals in 195 international matches for the Swiss national team . With the Swiss team he played the decisive qualifying games for the 2008 European handball championship against the Belarusian selection on June 9 and 17, 2007 , but could not qualify. In the Swiss national dress he wears the shirt number 7.
