Clemens Busch (administrative lawyer)

Clemens AE Busch (born July 23, 1879 - † November 6, 1966 ) was a German administrative lawyer . It was from 1912-13 to 1919 District Administrator of the district Altenkirchen and 1945-1947 District President of the administrative district of Cologne .

Life

The son of the diplomat Clemens Busch and Margot, b. Bendemann, completed a law degree . After the first state examination in law , he joined the Prussian judicial service in 1900 as a court trainee. He was since 1903 government clerk, the second state examination took off and became a doctor of law doctorate . From 1905 he was a government assessor.

Busch had worked for the Central Cooperative Fund and the Government Settlement Commission in Poznan from 1907 . In 1911 he went to Cologne . A year later he was first provisional, then in 1913 finally district administrator of the Altenkirchen district. Between 1914 and 1916 he did military service, most recently as a captain in the war administration. From 1916 he worked as a consultant in the war food office, where he was promoted to the government council.

Busch had been a laborer in the Prussian State Ministry since August 1919 and was replaced by Wilhelm Boden as district administrator in October 1919 . On December 1, 1919 he was appointed Ministerialrat, at the same time he was given the title of Privy Councilor. From 1920 he was a senior administrative judge. In 1922 he switched to the Reich Finance Court in Munich as Reich Finance Councilor , where he worked as a judge. In 1937 he retired.

After the Second World War , Busch was appointed President of the Cologne Government on May 21, 1945. He retired on March 1, 1947.
