Colleen Miller (rower)
Colleen Grace Miller (* thirtieth December 1967 in Matlock , Manitoba ) is a former Canadian lightweight - rower .
Athletic career
The 1.72 m tall Colleen Miller from the Winnipeg Rowing Club first took part in the World Rowing Championships in 1989, and the Canadian crew took sixth place in the lightweight foursome without a helmsman . At the World Championships in 1990 the Canadians were victorious in 1991 , the boat finished back in sixth place.
In 1992 Miller switched to the lightweight double scull , together with Michelle Darvill she won the silver medal at the 1992 World Championships . From 1993 she rowed with Wendy Wiebe , the two Canadians won the world title three times in a row: 1993 in Račice u Štětí , 1994 in Indianapolis and 1995 in Tampere . In 1996, lightweight rowing was on the Olympic program for the first time. At the Olympic regatta in Atlanta , Miller and Wiebe took seventh place as winners of the B final.
