The Communauté de communes du Bassin de Neufchâteau was a French association of municipalities with the legal form of a Communauté de communes in the departments of Vosges and Haute-Marne in the Grand Est region . The community association was founded on November 22, 2012 and comprised 42 communities. The administrative seat was in the city of Neufchâteau . The specialty lay in the cross-departmental structure of the municipalities.

Historical development

The community association was created with effect from January 1, 2013 through the merger of the predecessor organizations

In addition, eleven other communities joined the association.

With effect from January 1, 2017, the community association merged with the Communauté de communes du Pays de Châtenois and thus formed the successor organization Communauté de communes de l'Ouest Vosgien .
