David Baalcke

David Baalcke (* 1966 in Munich ) is a German actor .

Life

From 1987 to 1990 David Baalcke trained at the New Munich Drama School. In 2013 he attended a directing seminar at the University of Television and Film Munich . In 1991 Baalcke took up an engagement at the Staatstheater Braunschweig , where he was seen in numerous productions until 1993, including the Brecht plays Der gute Mensch by Sezuan and Mother Courage and Her Children , in Hauptmann von Köpenick by Carl Zuckmayer or in William Shakespeare's As You Like It . From the mid-1990s, Baalcke appeared frequently on Munich theaters, such as the Modern Theater, the Prinzregententheater , in Hall 7 and the Metropoltheater . Commitments also led him to the Jagsthausen Castle Festival and repeatedly to the Luisenburg Festival in Wunsiedel. There he played in the Brandner Kaspar , in Wilhelm Tell by Friedrich Schiller and the Shakespeare comedy The Taming of the Shrew .

David Baalcke has also been working in front of the camera since the early 1990s. He made his debut in 1992 in Philip Groening 's grotesque Die Terroristen! . In 2006, he starred in the award-winning ensemble film shopping by Ralf Westhoff . In addition, Baalcke can be seen again and again in guest roles in various series, such as the Rosenheim Cops , SOKO 5113 or SOKO Stuttgart . In 2012 and 2013 he appeared in two episodes in the Tatort series .
