Decollatura is an Italian commune with 3,039 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the province of Catanzaro , Calabria region .

The area of ​​the municipality is at an altitude of 744 m above sea level and covers an area of ​​50.35 km² . The neighboring municipalities are Conflenti , Gimigliano , Motta Santa Lucia , Pedivigliano ( CS ), Platania , San Pietro Apostolo , Serrastretta and Soveria Mannelli . The districts are Adami , Casenove, Cerrisi, San Bernardo and Tomaini. Decollatura is 44 km northwest of Catanzaro and has a train station on the Cosenza – Catanzaro railway line .

The municipality was founded in 1801, the area previously belonged to Motta Santa Lucia.
