Badolato is an Italian city in the province of Catanzaro in Calabria with 2912 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019).

Location and dates

Badolato is 50 km south of Catanzaro on the eastern slope of the Serre . The neighboring municipalities are Brognaturo ( VV ), Isca sullo Ionio , San Sostene and Santa Caterina dello Ionio . The district of Badolato Marina is located directly on the sea and offers opportunities for water sports.

Attractions

There are remains of a castle wall in the village. There are frescoes in the church of S. Isidoro . Works of art from the 15th and 16th centuries can be found in the Church of the Reformed.
