Centrache is a southern Italian municipality ( comune ) in the province of Catanzaro in the Calabria region with 378 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019). The patron saint of the place is St. Onophrios the Great .

Location and dates

Centrache is 40 km southwest of Catanzaro on the Ionian side of the Serre . The municipality covers an area of ​​7.96  km² . The place is at an altitude of 458 meters above sea level. The neighboring communities are Montepaone , Olivadi , Palermiti , Petrizzi and Vallefiorita .

Attractions

The place is in the middle of chestnut forests . In the area there are sulphurous springs for bathing and drinking.
