Denis Sergejewitsch Parschin ( Russian Денис Сергеевич Паршин ; born February 1, 1986 in Andropow , Russian SFSR ) is a Russian ice hockey player who has been under contract with Dinamo Riga from the Continental Hockey League (KHL) since August 2020 and is in the position of left winger plays.
Career
Denis Parschin began his career as a hockey player in the youth department of the HK CSKA Moscow , for whose professional team he made his debut in the super league in the 2003/04 season . In his rookie year , he scored two goals in 27 games and made four assists. He was then selected in the NHL Entry Draft 2004 in the third round as a total of 72 players by the Colorado Avalanche , for which he never played. Instead, the winger stayed at ZSKA, where he developed into one of the leading players within the team.
From the 2008/09 season Parschin took part in the game operations of the newly founded Continental Hockey League with the HK ZSKA . Especially in the 2009/10 season , in which he was one of the assistant captains of CSKA, he was able to convince with 44 points in 59 games. Because of his good performance, he was also nominated for the KHL All-Star Game .
In October 2012, CSKA swapped him for Igor Grigorenko from Salawat Yulayev Ufa . For Salawat Parshin completed 25 KHL games by the end of the season, before he was given to the Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod on May 6, 2013 together with Sergei Sentjurin in exchange for Dmitri Makarov . At Torpedo he spent the 2013/14 season and again showed appealing performances, so that he was signed by HK Awangard Omsk in May 2014 .
Between 2016 and 2017 he played again at Ufa before he was under contract with Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod for two more seasons. In May 2019, he and two other torpedo players were signed up by HK Metallurg Magnitogorsk . He stayed there until February 2020 before moving to HC Košice in the Slovak extra league. He finished the season in Košice before joining Dinamo Riga from the KHL in August 2020 .
International
For Russia , Parschin took part in the junior division in the 2004 U18 World Junior Championship and the 2005 U20 World Junior Championship . In the senior sector, he was in Russia's squad for the Euro Hockey Tour in 2007 and 2009 .
