Miks Indrašis (born September 30, 1990 in Riga ) is a Latvian ice hockey player who has been under contract with Dinamo Riga from the Continental Hockey League since July 2020 and plays there in the position of right winger .
Career
Miks Indrašis began his career as a hockey player in the youth department of HK Liepājas Metalurgs , in which he was active until 2007. From 2007 to 2009 the winger played for SK LSPA / Riga in the Latvian ice hockey league and the second league. At the same time he played for SK Riga 18 in the national U18 junior championship and the professional team of HK Riga 2000 in the Belarusian extra league . He spent the 2009/10 season with Dinamo Juniors Riga in the Belarusian extra league . In the following season he ran for HK Riga in the multinational youth league Molodjoschnaja Chokkeinaja Liga .
In the 2011/12 season Indrašis made his debut for Dinamo Riga in the Continental Hockey League , in which he came to a use. However, he spent the rest of the season with their farm team , his ex-club HK Liepājas Metalurgs from the Belarusian extra league and HK Riga in the MHL. In the playoffs he also made two appearances for HK Juniors Riga in the Latvian ice hockey league.
In the following years Indrašis developed at Dinamo to a high performer and was regularly one of the best scorers in the team. In 2018 he took part in the KHL All-Star Game . In May 2018 he left Dinamo Riga after nine years of club membership and moved to the Russian capital for HK Dynamo Moscow . After two years at Dynamo, the Latvian returned to Dinamo Riga in July 2020.
International
For Latvia , Indrašis took part in the junior division of the U18 World Junior Championship in Division I in 2008 and the U20 World Junior Championship in 2010 . In the senior sector, he was in his country's squad for the first time at the 2012 World Cup .
