The heroes of the west

The heroes of the West is the series title of an anthology of 1890, in the title under the belt , the son of the bear hunter , the first two youth stories of Karl May for the boys' magazine The Good Comrade published:

1. The Bear Hunter's Son (1887)

2. The spirit of the Llano estakado (1888, originally incorrectly The spirit of the Llano estakata )

The series title was no longer used for the other book editions Mayscher Jugenderzählungen published by the Union Deutsche Verlagsgesellschaft .

In the "Gesammelte Werken" of the Karl-May-Verlag the two stories appeared in volume 35 "Unter Vultures".
