Dilara Baştar
Dilara Baştar (* 1988 in Istanbul , Republic of Turkey ) is a Turkish opera singer with a mezzo-soprano , alto and soprano voice .
Life
In 2002 Dilara Baştar began studying music , including clarinet , at the Conservatory of the Istanbul State University in her native city. In 2006 she switched to the singing course also in the metropolis of Istanbul, at the state Mimar Sinan University of Fine Arts .
In June 2012 the mezzo-soprano won the 14th edition of the Siemens opera competition in Turkey. As part of the first prize, she received a scholarship to the opera studio from the Badisches Staatstheater Karlsruhe in Karlsruhe . She therefore continued her vocal studies at the Karlsruhe University of Music , and she could also be seen at the inauguration of the Wolfgang Rihm Forum, which she successfully completed in 2014. In the 2014/15 season she became an integral part of the opera ensemble of the Badisches Staatstheater Karlsruhe.
In June 2015, Baştar participated as an opera singer in the multimedia opening show of the celebrations for the 300th birthday of the city of Karlsruhe. In this opening show she portrayed the Margravine of Baden Karoline Luise .
In April 2016 she was named one of the three nominees in the category of best opera actress of the year at the Donizetti Classical Music Awards in Turkey. Due to her performance and establishment in the opera ensemble of the Badisches Staatstheater Karlsruhe, Baştar convinced there with her important mezzo-soprano parts in various roles and with her artistic representation in every season.
In February 2017, Baştar appeared as an opera singer at the 40th Handel Festival in Karlsruhe in the new production of the drama Semele in the role of "Ino".
Since October 2017, Baştar has helped with her artistic performance as an opera singer at the opera von Wagner's Götterdämmerung in the role of "Wellgunde", which was performed at the State Theater in Karlsruhe, for which the opera director in charge Tobias Kratzer won the 13th German Theater Prize Der Faust in November 2018 ( 2018 ) in the category “ Best Director in Music Theater ”. Because of the rare conceptual coherence and accuracy of Richard Wagner's difficult opera .
Beginning in 2019 she performed convincingly with brilliance in the Weiden Max Reger Hall in the "Great New Year concert " and offered, among other things, the " Barcarolle is" song.
