East Bronson is a census-designated place (CDP) in Levy County in the US state of Florida with 1945 inhabitants (as of 2010).
geography
East Bronson borders directly on the city of Bronson to the west and is approximately 130 km southwest of Jacksonville . The CDP is affected by US Highway 27 Alternate ( SR 500 ) and Florida State Road 24 .
Demographic data
According to the 2010 census, the 1945 population at that time was distributed among 935 households. The population density was 65.7 inh / km². 86.6% of the population identified themselves as white, 5.6% as African-American , 0.3% as Native American and 0.3% as Asian Americans . 4.3% said they belonged to another ethnic group and 2.9% to several ethnic groups. 13.8% of the population was made up of Hispanics or Latinos .
In 2010 children under the age of 18 lived in 33.7% of all households and persons aged 65 or over lived in 28.9% of all households. 71.7% of households were family households (consisting of married couples with or without offspring or a parent with offspring).
