Inglis is a city in Levy County in the US state of Florida with 1,325 inhabitants (as of 2010).

geography

Inglis is bordered by the city of Yankeetown to the west and the Withlacoochee River to the south . The city is about 50 km south of Bronson and about 180 km southwest of Jacksonville .

Demographic data

According to the 2010 census, the then 1325 inhabitants were distributed among 898 households. The population density was 141.0 inh / km². 95.4% of the population identified themselves as whites, 0.5% as African American , 0.6% as Indians and 1.3% as Asian Americans . 0.5% said they belonged to another ethnic group and 1.7% to several ethnic groups. 4.7% of the population was made up of Hispanics or Latinos .
