electro magnetic
electro magnetic is the name of a festival of electronic dance music in the world cultural heritage Völklinger Hütte in Saarland .
The festival has existed since 2012 and initially had 8,000 and currently 10,000 visitors. In the debut year it was at the European Festivals Awards as Best New European Festival Award. On four to five open-air areas, mostly DJs and, more rarely, live acts in the fields of electro , techno and house play . From 2015, another music event took place the day before in the same place, and in 2019 the festival lasted two days for the first time. In 2020 the festival will not take place
The event is organized by the company 4plus1 , which also runs concerts and the Rocco del Schlacko Festival .
