Ebersberg is a settlement in the town of Tanna in the Saale-Orla district in Thuringia .

Ebersberg is located about 10 km from Schleiz on a ridge between the valleys of Wettera to the west and Wisenta to the east in the southeast Thuringian slate mountains northeast of the Rosenbühl . The landscape of this mountain range is diverse and interesting for visitors. The prerequisites for a high proportion of fine soil and a high humus content of the soil are valuable for the farmers . The corridor of the settlement is still dominated by agriculture, but over time the place has grown together with the city.
