Willersdorf is a settlement in the town of Tanna in the Saale-Orla district in Thuringia .

geography

Willersdorf is located about 10 km south of Schleiz on the edge of the Wisenta valley , a tributary of the Saale , in the southeast Thuringian slate mountains northeast of the Rosenbühl . The landscape of this mountain range is diverse. The prerequisites for a high proportion of fine soil and a high humus content in the soil are valuable for agriculture . The corridor of the district is mostly bordered by forest. In terms of traffic, there is a connection via federal highway 2 to federal highway 9 . The district is on average 555 m above sea level.

history

The hamlet , currently inhabited by 160 people , was first mentioned in a document on January 24, 1417 and the document was also archived. In 1974 Willersdorf was incorporated into Rothenacker, which in 1997 became part of the city of Tanna.
