Ehmsenweg

The Ehmsenweg is a 74 km long main hiking trail in the association area of ​​the Sauerland Mountain Association and, like all the other main hiking trails, has the white St. Andrew's cross X as a signpost , extended by the number 8 at intersections.

On the route from Arnsberg to Olpe , the hiking trail leads through Sundern , Elspe and over the Hohe Bracht . The path is named after Ernst Ehmsen , one of the founders of the Sauerland Mountain Association. In Arnsberg there is also a memorial to the forestry councilor Ehmsen.
