Kurkölner Weg is a main hiking route of the Sauerland Mountain Association .

It runs over 153 kilometers from Meschede in the Sauerland over the Bergisches Land to Cologne-Rath . The path is marked with the sign "X22".

South of Overath it follows to the mouth in the Agger the Naafbachtal , an under conservation property Bachtalsystem with numerous wetlands and alluvial forests . On the way to the Sülztal , the 260 m high Lüderich is circled, where zinc blende and galena were mined until 1978 . On the last kilometers to the finish in Cologne-Rath , the Kurkölner Weg finally crosses the Königsforst recreational area .
