Kaiser-Otto-Weg

The Kaiser-Otto-Weg is a main hiking trail in the association area of ​​the Sauerland Mountain Association and, like the other main hiking trails, has the white St. Andrew's cross X as a sign , extended by the number 16 at intersections.

From Meschede the route leads via Brunskappel , Niedersfeld and Willingen to Marsberg . From Niedersfeld to Marsberg it forms part of the European long-distance hiking trail E1 .

The path is named after Emperor Otto the Great , who worked in Meschede, Brunskappel and Marsberg, among others.
